NOTICE OF WORK – Removal of laydown site and demolition of building – 58 Sullivan Street

CNL and our contractors will be performing a demolition of a building located at 58 Sullivan Street.

In advance of the work, contractor trailers at the current laydown site will be removed. Some materials and equipment may remain to facilitate the demolition and excavation of low-level radioactive waste.

To safely support the demolition, you will see and hear:

  • utility disconnects
  • scaffolding and tenting erected around the building
  • construction equipment and supplies

A section of the abutting laneway will become inaccessible and therefore will not be a through-way for the duration of the demolition.

The work is expected to begin late July/early August and will continue through fall with remediation of the rest of the property to follow once demolition activities have been completed and associated protections have been removed.

Dust and noise monitoring will be in place for the duration of the work.

Please be careful when in the area and obey all posted signage.
